About Arkansas 4-H Ambassador Program
Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors assist with 4-H promotion at the county and state level, pushing the Arkansas 4-H program at every opportunity. Ambassadors assist with statewide 4-H programs such as the Teen Leader Conference, serve as banquet planners or workshop speakers, and represent 4-H at various activities such as fairs, donor events, awards programs, and community and state organizations' annual meetings.
To become an Arkansas 4-H Ambassador, youth must first be named a Teen Star, then fill out the application below, and finally present an Arkansas 4-H promotional speech and interview in front of a panel of selected judges. The Arkansas 4-H Ambassador application is due each year on March 15th.
Each year, current Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors gather to learn more leadership skills and network with other 4-H leaders across the state. Ambassadors also utilize this time to plan and prepare for the Arkansas Teen Leader Conference. The Ambassador Workshop will be held on February 21-22, 2020 at the C.A.Vines Arkansas 4-H Center. Registrations must be in to the 4-H state office by February 7, 2020. Registration fees for attendance are $75.
