Ambassadors
About Arkansas 4-H Ambassador Program
Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors assist with 4-H promotion at the county and state level, pushing the Arkansas 4-H program at every opportunity. Ambassadors assist with statewide 4-H programs such as the Teen Leader Conference, serve as banquet planners or workshop speakers, and represent 4-H at various activities such as fairs, donor events, awards programs, and community and state organizations' annual meetings.
Application
To become an Arkansas 4-H Ambassador, youth must first be named a Teen Star, then fill out the application below, and finally present an Arkansas 4-H promotional speech and interview in front of a panel of selected judges. The Arkansas 4-H Ambassador application is due each year on March 15th or the first business day thereafter.
2021 Ambassador applications are due on Monday, March 15th.
Ambassador Workshop
Each year, current Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors gather to learn more leadership skills and network with other 4-H leaders across the state. Ambassadors also utilize this time to plan and prepare for the Arkansas Teen Leader Conference.
Current Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors
The current group of Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors will need to certify their efforts each year to remain an ambassador. The re-certification is due each year on May 15th. The 4-H Ambassador Re-Certification application can be found below - this is only for 4-Her's who have already been named an Ambassador.
The new group of Arkansas 4-H Ambassadors was named in June of 2020, congratulations to this new class of Ambassadors!
